Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information ECOMX LLC (“Habitude”, “we”) collects on habitudegoods.com, how we use it and your choices.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email, phone number (optional), billing and shipping address, the products you buy and your order history.
• Payment details: handled directly by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number. We receive limited details such as the card brand, the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.
• Messages: emails, calls and other messages you send us.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, collected by our hosting and security providers to run and protect the site.

Cookies

We use cookies that the store needs to work, for example to keep your cart and checkout session. Stripe and PayPal set their own cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud.

Advertising and measurement (Meta)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure which ads work, our site uses the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It sets cookies and reads browser and device identifiers when you view pages, view a product, add to cart and start checkout.

When you buy, we also send Meta the purchase event (order number, value and products) directly from our server, together with your email, phone number, name, city, state, ZIP code and country in hashed (scrambled) form, plus your IP address, browser type and Meta’s browser and click IDs. This is Meta’s Conversions API. Meta uses this to match purchases to ads, to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who may be interested, including people who visited our site.

How we use it

• To process, ship and support your order, including returns and warranty claims.
• To send order and shipping updates.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send marketing email if you agree to it, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only what is needed, with: Stripe and PayPal (payments and fraud prevention), our warehouse, fulfillment partners and shipping carriers (to deliver your order), our hosting and security providers (Rocket.net and Cloudflare), our email provider (Google Workspace), Meta (Facebook) as described above, and our accountants or authorities where the law requires it.

Under some state laws, such as California’s, sending data to Meta for advertising counts as “sharing” for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You can opt out of sharing for targeted advertising in two ways:

• Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends the GPC signal, our site does not load the Meta pixel and does not send your purchase to Meta.
• Email: write to support@habitudegoods.com with the subject “Do not share” and we will stop sending your data to Meta.

You can also change your Meta ad preferences, read Meta’s privacy policy, or opt out with many ad companies at once at YourAdChoices.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for warranty, tax and legal obligations, then delete them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@habitudegoods.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or other US states), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout need them to work.

Do Not Track

Our site does not change its behavior for the older Do Not Track signal, but it does honor Global Privacy Control as described above. The Meta pixel may collect information about your activity over time and across websites.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can access your information.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
